Grant Support for Community Groups & Not-for-Profits

Applying for a grant can be a daunting process. Senator Payman’s office is here to help.
Senator Fatima Payman is committed to supporting the community groups, charities, and not-for-profit organisations that do so much to strengthen Western Australia. Our office offers a free grant support service to help local groups navigate the grants process, from finding the right funding opportunity to putting together a strong application.
How we can help
- Letters of support: A letter of support from Senator Payman can strengthen your application by demonstrating community and parliamentary backing for your project.
- Navigating the system: Guidance on where to look for relevant state and federal grant programs, and help understanding eligibility criteria and application requirements.
- Application advice: General feedback and advice on framing your project to align with grant guidelines.
- Connecting you with the right people: Where relevant, we can help connect you with the appropriate government department or agency.

Who can apply
This service is open to community groups, not-for-profit organisations, charities, and grassroots initiatives operating in or benefiting Western Australia.
What happens after you apply
Once you submit the form, our team will assess your request and respond within 5 working days. We will advise whether, and how, we are able to support your application based on your project and its alignment with the Senator’s priorities. Not all requests will result in support being offered.
